Sony Alpha Rumors is reporting that Sony may be getting ready to announce a new APS-C camera at Photokina next month or PhotoPlus Expo in October. They say that it’s essentially a “Mini A9” and may not be a successor to the Sony A6500 after all, but a whole new product line. They say that name of this new camera might not be the A6700, carrying on where the A6500 left off, but the A7000....
While we have had a couple of photo and basic specs leaks, Sony has managed to keep the major specs of its new Sony A7C mostly under wraps. But now, it’s finally been announced and all the details are out – although, for some reason, Sony decided to announce it when much of the world was asleep. I’m relying on Google Translate for this one, but it appears that North Korea are equipping their drones with Sony SLT cameras. Or, at least, one particular drone which recently crash landed in South Korea, according to a report from Naver. Judging from photos, it seems similar to a drone that was discovered in Baekryeong Island in 2014. Inside the recently crashed drone was a Sony SLT camera. They haven’t stated which model of camera it was, or the lens being used, simply that it contained a 64GB memory card....

Since making is debut in July of 2019, the Sigma fp has gained notoriety as a very capable camera among its mixed reviews. The decidedly lowercase ‘fp’ is Sigma’s first full-frame sensor. The fp was released the same year that all other major camera manufacturers that aren’t Sony were releasing their first or second full-frame mirrorless cameras, and in typical Sigma fashion, the fp stood out from the crowd.
